A space explorer land on a planet that was presumably once inhabited by human begins. As his species usually does, he starts to document the world he has just discovered.
The resemblance of the alien planet to his own leads him infringe standard operating procedures and he remains there for a long time, perhaps too long: he soon becomes the sentinel of that world wich is uninabited and enchanted.

"I've followed a characteristic of my personality, which is taking care of the things thrown away by the others, whoever they are. I'm just like that: it's better than nothing"

Any years pass and the explorer, whose emotion have pushed him beyond his original duties, feels that he has concluded his mission. But when the moment comes to abandon the planet, he makes a discovery which forces him once again, and this time definitively, to change his mind.
